CHEF DAVE HADLEY

Dave Hadley is a Denver-based chef, restaurateur, and television personality known for blending South Indian, Caribbean, and American influences into a style uniquely his own. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he built his reputation in Colorado restaurants including Acorn, ChoLon, Nocturne, Biju’s Little Curry Shop, and The Preservery before becoming a two-time Food Network champion and founder of Samosa Shop.

Hadley gained national attention after winning Chopped in 2017 and later Supermarket Stakeout in 2021. Following his Chopped victory, he traveled through India and Thailand, including time spent at the acclaimed restaurants Gaggan and Nahm, experiences that deeply shaped his culinary perspective.

He later launched Samosa Shop, a concept that grew from a pandemic-era pop-up into one of Denver’s most talked-about food brands. Known for inventive dishes like birria samosas, cheeseburger samosas, and jerk chicken tacos, Hadley’s cooking combines South Indian flavors with American comfort food and global street-food influences. His work has earned recognition from organizations including StarChefs, which named him a Rising Star Chef.
